Likewise, many application developers spend their time thinking about the application themselves. They tend to forget the stack of technologies that these services run on. This is unfortunate. We, as consultants, often take a more holistic approach to technology: helping other to build the best application we want it to be as efficient as possible.
Futhermore, infrastructure is about more than just the technology and the applications. Infrastructure includes people and processes, too. People build, maintain, and operate the infrastructure, and they often do so in ways that are not very scalable.
Consider, for instance, building an application that aims to democratizing computing infrastructure access, allowing, for instance, AI scientists to access GPU compute.

Business problems to address would include creating a product offering, likely, a cloud instance equipped with the modern stack of ML frameworks. Computing resources must be sourced somewhere at prices that make the unit economy worthwhile, preferably, in decentralized matter. The infrastructure should be decentralized and operate in fault proof/tolerant model. A right set of incentives should be set up.
